Monthly Update: April

April marked a milestone moment for us — our first official publicity outing under the Golden Ticket Entertainment banner! We exhibited at the Mercedes Benz World Wedding Fair, firing on all cylinders and showcasing our incredible range of bands, ensembles and entertainment packages to a fantastic crowd of soon-to-be-weds. These events are always a lovely moment for us to meet some very cool wedding suppliers and venues too.

A huge shoutout to Alex West from The Party Pilots, who delivered some brilliant acoustic sets that stopped people in their tracks (we're not stopping anytime soon with the driving puns), and of course, Team Oomparty did what they do best — bringing the energy, the brass, and the party vibes to the showroom floor, leaving everyone firmly stuck in fifth gear (wahey)!

We even rubbed shoulders with an F1 star… sort of. George Russell of Mercedes fame made an appearance, albeit in cardboard form. Still, he cut an impressive figure, and was arguably easier to get a selfie with.

Elsewhere, we took the Golden Ticket vibes back to the capital with a return performance from our mighty Oomparty two-piece, this time for a 40th birthday bash in Dulwich. The duo brought the party before handing over to one of our in-house DJs for a proper late-night session.

Onwards to May — wedding season, here we come! 💍
