Well that was a whirlwind!
We're currently in a full-on food coma, so what better time to write a quick re-cap of the CRAZINESS that was December?
The Oomparty Band started the month with a pair of dates at Chiswick Park, entertaining workers over their lunch break. The team at Enjoy-Work created a real festive atmosphere for their colleagues featuring curling lanes and mince pies.

We continued our Albert's Schloss residency with three more dates in December, and also made public appearances at Kingston-on-Thames Christmas market as well as (a first for us) Oxford Christmas market — another one hosted by Keston Events. We always feel VERY Christmassy after these!
We made another debut this month — our first performance at the Lion Walk shopping centre in Colchester, this time with our 2-piece Oomparty line-up PLUS one of our amazing German hostesses: the outlandishly brilliant Gürda Loins (aka vocalist and cabaret host Kirsty Minchella-Storer).

But it wasn't just a month for Oomparty action — we also had a lovely date with our Party Pilots duo featuring Alex (guitar/vocals) and Luke (percussion) at the Arc West London lab space.

In probably the most wholesome gig The Oomparty Band have ever done, we also made an appearance at The Rose Theatre in Kingston alongside a smorgasbord of local choirs. The brief was "get everyone standing up in their seats singing and dancing" and we met it with aplomb. Photo below with Mary Bourne (organiser) and one of her fantastic choirs.

Rounding off 2024 were three brilliant corporate Christmas parties (one of them was actually "APRÈS-SKI THEMED" i.e. no Santa hats or Mariah) for Fujifilm, Totemic and Pendo. You guys know how to celebrate!
Signing off now, wishing you all a happy new year. Here's to an even bigger and better 2025!
